Ms. Maryjane, the owner, was very nice to me. And so are the other people there. Her nephew was there too and he was the one who handed me the keys. He was nice, too. I think he was the guy who answered the phone when I first called to inquire. And yeah, he, too, is a college student (prolly a sophomore or a junior). Even the 10-month old baby was so welcoming! He was holding my hand and smiling at me; he even allowed me to kiss him in the cheek. A really sweet baby. Oh, I love kids.
Anyway, the guy (Ms. Maryjane’s nephew) said that if my classes start at 8:30, I should leave by 7 to avoid traffic. Oh well. That’s okay. At least their subdivision has a roaming shuttle so I don’t have to walk.
Hmm…new people, new places, new school--- basically, a whole new life.
But me? I’ll stay the same.
